Process Engineer - Mill Hall, PA

Avery Dennison is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Materials Group North America team in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will maximize operational effectiveness through the development, implementation, and management of best-in-class process engineering and automation strategies.

Requirements

• Follow all Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
• Spearhead digitization and automation projects in a manufacturing environment
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced industrial automation and control systems
• Provide specialized technical support and expertise on process and production issues related to automation and control systems
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for automated processes
• Lead and assist in the automation design and implementation of new equipment and technologies
• Provide general troubleshooting, engineering, maintenance, equipment, and daily process assistance to the manufacturing line
• Lead and assist in capital projects related to automation equipment installations, modifications, or upgrades
• Support day-to-day operations and work with production teams to identify, select, prioritize, and execute process improvement projects with an automation focus
