We are seeking an EHS Specialist with leadership qualities to join our team at one of the largest industrial concerns in the Netherlands. The job entails supporting the Site Engineering department by filling in specific EHS aspects of the department's EHS policy, according to the internal EHS quality management system.
Requirements
- Drafting and implementing the EHS departmental policy, implementing and ensuring compliance.
- Maintaining, evaluating, and controlling department-specific EHS documents, including the Action Plan, V&G plan, SOP's, WI's, etc.
- Compliance with and improvement of the Contractor Safety Program for SE and execution of specific tasks within the department.
- Executing department-specific EHS tasks, including guiding and instructing (safety) workers and project leaders of SE, conducting safety inspections within SE, and (jointly) executing the Risk Inventory and Evaluation.
- Evaluating, evaluating, and archiving SE Work Permits.
- Informing and advising employees on the SE department.
- Monitoring the implementation of the EHS policy within the department by organizing and executing internal department-specific EHS inspections and collaborating with EHS Inspectors and EHS auditors internally at the location or by third parties. And guiding incident investigations.
- Reporting if EHS regulations are not being followed within the department and informing management.
- Regularly discussing with the SHE department on the policy to be followed and policy changes within the company and implementing these within the SE department.
