Head of Finance

Mumsnet is looking for a hands-on Head of Finance to lead the day-to-day finance function and act as a close partner to the CEO and leadership team. This role owns financial accuracy, control and delivery across the business, while also playing a key supporting role in commercial decision-making and planning.

Requirements

• Experience in a senior finance role such as Head of Finance, Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Strong grounding in management reporting, forecasting, cashflow and financial controls
• Good commercial instincts, with the ability to explain financial performance clearly to non-finance colleagues
• Strong spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets and/or Excel), including financial modelling and analysis
• Experience leading or mentoring a small finance team
• Highly organised, detail-focused and pragmatic, with a collaborative working style
• Comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders and translating strategy into numbers
• Alignment with Mumsnet’s values and culture
