Job Description
Murray Company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to assist with the delivery of mechanical projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The role involves project scheduling, cost tracking, subcontractor management, project documentation, and mentorship. The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems and a strong organizational skillset.
Requirements
- Assist in the development of project schedules, budgets, and manpower plans.
- Monitor labor, material, and equipment costs, and prepare progress and cost reports.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of work and materials.
- Prepare, process, and track change orders, billings, and other project-related documentation.
- Support field supervision in resolving issues and maintaining productivity.
- Participate in project meetings and follow up action items.
- Support compliance with company safety standards and jobsite safety programs.
