Project Engineer

Murray Company is seeking a Project Engineer to join their Northern California division. This role supports the success of project projects, working alongside experienced professionals and contributing to the company's mission of shared values of safety, quality, and pride of ownership. The PE will assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing project activities.

Requirements

• Assist Project Manager in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, and arranging for assignment of project personnel.
• Assist in the coordination of project personnel activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
• Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports, and procedures as required.
• Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items per supervisor’s authorization.
• Prepare special reports, studies, and statistical analysis per supervisor’s request.
• Physical requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, lifting up to 15 pounds, working in noisy environments.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, mechanical engineering or similar area of study.
