Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will provide accounting support to the Finance Team, including accounts payable process, payroll entries, credit card reconciliation, and month end reconciliation. The role will work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure effective program implementation and conduct flawless audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant experience
• 0-3 years of related experience
• Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar software, Ticketmaster One and high-level use/knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles preferred
• Cooperative attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage one’s time to meet important deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously and solve problems with minimal supervision
• Capable of discerning and maintaining confidentiality of information
• Ability to organize, evaluate, and present information effectively in writing and verbally
• Nonprofit experience preferred
