Hydraulic Technician - Hempstead

Mustang Cat, the authorized Caterpillar dealer for Southeast Texas, is hiring a Component Shop Heavy Equipment Technician – Hydraulic Focused for our Hempstead, Texas location. This role involves specializing in hydraulic systems, performing precision work on pumps, motors, and control valves to keep Caterpillar equipment performing at its best.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven hydraulic system experience
• Proficiency with Caterpillar systems: SIS 2.0, Salesforce, and PowerTest
• Experience with electrical systems and hydraulic diagnostics
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
• Ability to perform detailed disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of hydraulic components
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read hydraulic schematics
• Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
