Job Description
The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for the processing of all daily shipping and packing activities, ensuring timely delivery to our customers.
Requirements
- Follow shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping/receiving schedules and average shipment goal of 40-45 per day, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Assist Warehouse Supervisor with incoming and outgoing shipping daily activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
- Use ERP system to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders and responsible for paperwork internal distribution of, i.e. outgoing product packing slips for shipments and/or labels.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and cycle count as required and report to Warehouse Supervisor and Working Lead of any discrepancies.
- Follow quality standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
