Job Description
The Market Management Systems (MMS) Applications Engineer provides support for MMS applications such as Security Constrained Economic Dispatch, Day-Ahead Market, and Congestion Revenue Rights. This role involves design, development, testing, validation, and implementation of modifications and enhancements. The engineer also performs model load testing, design of MMS interfaces and web applications, and supports system site failovers.
Requirements
- Member of the 24/7 Market Applications Engineering support on call team.
- Assist in the proactive enhancements, improvements, and issue remediation.
- Coordinate application set up and testing with QSEs, LSEs, REs.
- Perform MMS model load testing and update models in real-time.
- Design and Test MMS Interfaces and Web & Client/Server applications changes.
- Verify and support MMS applications during system site failovers and upgrades.
