Staff Engineer, QA Automation (Mobile & API Testing)

Nagarro is a Digital Product Engineering company looking for a Staff Engineer, QA Automation to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in QA Automation with expertise in mobile and web automation testing, and will be responsible for defining QA strategies, test scenarios, and coverage plans aligned with business needs.

Requirements

• Total experience 7+ years
• Strong working experience in QA Automation with deep expertise in mobile (Android/iOS) and web automation testing
• Hands on experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Expertise in writing SQL queries
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices, including build and source control automation tools like Jenkins, Git, and MS Azure DevOps
• Solid experience in API automation using Rest Assured
• Hands on experience in automation frameworks using Appium, Selenium and Rest Assured
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Define QA strategies, test scenarios, and coverage plans aligned with business needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and collaborate effectively
