Job Description
Nansen is seeking a Head of BD Staking to lead institutional business development for their staking offering. The role involves securing assets from institutional clients, driving AUM growth, and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers. Success will be measured by institutional AUM growth, client retention, and expansion within accounts. The company empowers investors and professionals with real-time insights from on-chain data.
Requirements
- 8+ years of B2B / institutional sales, business development, or partnership experience
- Strong track record closing six- to seven-figure deals with institutional clients
- Deep understanding of blockchain / crypto / staking
- Experience negotiating complex contracts (SLAs, risk allocation, service-level terms)
- Excellent network within institutional asset management, custody, banks, or digital asset ecosystems
- Ability to sell both the technical and business value
- Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- High emotional intelligence and relationship-building ability
- Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness to travel and represent Nansen globally
