Job Description
The School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at NTU is looking for a Research Fellow (Organic Chemistry) to work on the Decarbonisation Programme "Singapore Max-Planck Alliance for the Sustainable Conversion of Biomass". The role involves validating and optimizing existing batch procedures, translating batch to flow procedure, and contributing to the mentoring and guidance of junior researchers and students.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Creative thinking and problem solving
- Experience in working with biomass
- Experience in heterogeneous catalysis
- Expertise in the analysis and characterization of heterogeneous catalysts
- Experience in organic chemistry lab work
- Solid background in organic chemistry
