Job Description
This Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner role involves providing outpatient psychiatric care in a clinic, conducting consultations for adult patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position focuses on holistic care, addressing substance use disorders and supporting patients across the behavioral health spectrum.
Requirements
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Tennessee.
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ healthcare experience, including 1–3 years in Behavioral Health.
- Experience providing direct care for adults with conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, chemical dependency, eating disorders, and other psychiatric diagnoses.
- Prior experience with EMR systems (Cerner strongly preferred).
