Specialist, Blue Boundaries (SIP)

The Specialist, Blue Boundaries (SIP) will provide critical and tactical support to the Science & Innovation team, including program and grants support, and general coordination across the organization. The role will involve working with the Manager, Blue Boundaries, to support a priority program within the organization, providing data and research support, and collaborating with the NGS events team and program lead to plan and execute programmatic convenings and events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience supporting non-profit programs with a conservation focus desired
• Understanding of the scientific method
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects, under deadlines, with changing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Technical proficiency with Salesforce, G-Suite tools, Wrike and other project management tools
• Familiarity with social media and other communication tools and platforms
