Software Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Software Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automation solutions to increase productivity and efficiency through software automation. The position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE with a hybrid 50% in the office work environment.

Requirements

• Develop, code, and configure projects related to automation of systems, processes and reporting for greater operational efficiencies across a variety of applications related to IT and other departments
• Create and deliver working, production-ready reference implementations that can be leveraged easily by teams
• Create points of integration and secure systems to provide greater operational efficiencies through automation solutions
• Help to establish and maintain coding best practices, methods, and design patterns in accordance with company and industry standards
• Design, create, maintain, and document IT automation opportunities, processes, and reports aligning business goals with IT services as well as enabling optimal security, performance, and greater operational efficiencies
