The NRCan Student Program allows students to gain practical experience in research and development, engineering, technology, administration, library science, computer science, trade, business, technology consulting services, finance, human resources, and other professional fields. Students have the opportunity to work in a stimulating intellectual environment with access to unique and specialized equipment, facilities, and expertise.

Requirements

• You have completed secondary school (or equivalent in 12th grade) with a cumulative average of 'B' or higher, or equivalent.
• You are pursuing studies at a recognized Canadian educational institution and will return to full-time studies in the next semester.
• You are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
• International students who meet the program requirements and are enrolled in one of the eligible Canadian educational institutions and part of the off-campus work permit program may apply.
• Reliability rating: To obtain a reliability rating, we must conduct a background check over a 5-year period.
