Director of Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHSS)

The National Western Center is seeking a Director of Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHSS) to oversee the campus' EHSS departments, ensure compliance with regulations, and develop programs and policies to maintain a safe and sustainable environment. The successful candidate will have 5 years of industry experience and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• 5 years of industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Knowledge and understanding of workplace safety, regulatory compliance, environmental sustainability and contract implementation, budget management
• Knowledge of building asset management process and reporting
• Knowledge and application of legal and EHS regulations, mitigate risks, EHS regulations, ISO and OSHA standards
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Compliance and regulations, communicating effectively, leading and motivating teams
• CSP, REHS, CIH or other industry certifications
• High EQ and interpersonal skills
