Backend Engineer - Junior

Nationwide IT Services is seeking a junior Backend Engineer to design and develop Spring Boot microservices, assist in discovery phase activities, and perform database migrations.

Requirements

• Design and develop Spring Boot microservices (Java 21+) that expose RESTful APIs to frontend consumers.
• Decouple and break down monolithic designs into domain-driven services.
• Write Unit Tests for internal development testing.
• Implement resilience patterns (Circuit Breakers, Retry Logic) using tools like Resilience4j.
• Perform database migrations using Hibernate ORM.
• Write SQL Stored Procedures when necessary for performance optimization.
