Job Description
The Maintenance Tech assists in day-to-day facility upkeep, including manufacturing/distribution equipment repair and preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- Assist with day-to-day facility upkeep and manufacturing/distribution equipment repair and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic, HVAC and electrical/electronic equipment.
- Suggest cost-saving upgrades to equipment and changes to improve performance of equipment.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional people regarding maintenance projects and requests.
- Maintain and repair office furniture and equipment.
- Assist with general facility maintenance including snow removal, sidewalk maintenance, and lighting replacement.
- Complete maintenance work orders by requested due dates.
- Source and order parts and supplies when needed.
- Perform all maintenance related duties and preventative maintenance not described above on an as needed basis.
