Associate Producer, Specials & Weekends Overnights

NBCUniversal is seeking an Associate Producer to join their overnight breaking news coverage team on weekends and support Early Today weekdays. The ideal candidate will have experience editing video and working with graphics, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in digital video, broadcast or cable
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with across editorial, technical, and talent teams under tight deadline
• Significant exposure to control room operations
• Excellent editorial judgment with knowledge of NBC News Standards
• Proficiency with automated control room systems and rundown tools –– or clear aptitude to learn them quickly
