Producer/Editor, NBC News NOW

NBCUniversal is seeking an experienced Producer/Editor to work on NBC News NOW. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in broadcast, digital, or cable news, with experience in writing compelling copy, editing original videos, and collaborating with teams.

Requirements

• Pitch and develop story ideas for day-of and future segments
• Shoot, script, and edit original videos
• Work closely with correspondents to develop and execute strong visual stories
• Edit on AVID and Adobe Premiere, with a focus on finding the best video and sound for assigned stories
• Book and conduct pre-interviews with guests for live and taped segments
