Job Description
Neal R. Gross and Co. is seeking experienced Digital Court Reporters to capture verbatim legal proceedings. This contract role involves both remote and in-person work, potentially requiring clients to pick up and drop off recordings at various locations. Candidates need to be self-sufficient and proficient in using digital recording tools.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Digital Court Reporter
- Proficient in digital recording software and annotation tools
- Strong attention to detail and excellent command of the English language
- Ability to work independently and adapt to courtroom/deposition environments
- Experience covering multi-speaker and technical proceedings
- Familiarity with court terminology and procedure
- Security screening access to client sites
