Job Description
Neal R. Gross and Co. is seeking skilled Freelance Stenographic Court Reporters to capture and document legal proceedings. The role requires precision, accurate transcriptions in ASCII and RTF formats, and attention to detail. Qualified candidates will be responsible for handling sensitive information and managing notes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a stenographic court reporter, preferably with depositions, arbitrations, and administrative hearings.
- Real-time transcription skills, with the necessary equipment and software.
- Thorough knowledge of legal terminology and courtroom protocols.
- Reliable transportation within the Washington, D.C. metro area.
- Proficiency in CAT software and dictionary usage.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
