Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer - Databricks to lead the migration of the Redshift data warehouse to Databricks, design and deploy infrastructure in AWS, and configure data governance. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in data engineering, advanced knowledge of PySpark and SQL, and experience in AWS and Databricks.
Requirements
- Professional in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytical platforms
- Advanced knowledge of PySpark and SQL
- Experience in AWS (S3, IAM, KMS, Glue, VPC, subnets, security)
- Infrastructure as code: Terraform (indispensable) and CloudFormation
- Experience in migration between analytical platforms (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Building pipelines, automation, and CI/CD
- Access control, roles, policies, and federated data governance models
- Git management and code versioning
