Product Development Engineering Co-op, Robotics

Neptune Medical Robotics is seeking a Product Development Engineering Co-op for a 6-month internship to assist with robotics R&D team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate individual responsibility, passion, and intensity in a fast-paced medical device start-up.

Requirements

• Assist with extensive testing, including on the bench and in tissue models.
• Conceive of, design, build, test, and evolve prototypes.
• Design and implement fixtures that can be used for design and manufacturing optimization.
• CAD components and assemblies.
• Develop test methods, protocols, and reports to evaluate components, systems, and processes.
• Create manufacturing methods & documentation, including Manufacturing Process Instructions and Bills of Materials.
• Perform analytical calculations.
• Work closely with vendors.
• Work well both independently and as part of a fast-moving, collaborative team.
