Job Description
NETGEAR is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their development team. This role involves designing and developing scalable web applications for network device management, creating real-time dashboards, managing device integrations, and developing mobile applications for field technicians. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple software development methodologies and network management concepts.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in React.js/Angular, TypeScript, D3.js
- Strong experience with Node.js, Python, or Java
- Understanding of SNMP, SSH, Telnet, NETCONF, REST APIs
- Experience with time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB)
- AWS/Azure/GCP experience with networking services
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Knowledge of network security principles
- CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or related technical field
