Job Description
Neuberger Berman is seeking an Operational Due Diligence Analyst to oversee the maintenance of an alternative fund manager review program. The role involves conducting reviews on existing and prospective investments, assessing firm structure, trading practices, accounting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will identify operational risks and document findings, directly interacting with senior personnel and maintaining a comprehensive review process. The role also involves client communication and project leadership.
Requirements
- Maintain ownership of the full ODD review lifecycle for existing and prospective investments
- Gather and analyze information from fund managers and specialty lenders during the investment decision-making process
- Identify key areas of operational risk and ensure appropriate controls are in place
- Communicate due diligence findings to the Investment Team and other decision makers
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and key events
