Requirements
- Master's Degree in ABA or related field
- Board certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA, BCBA-D)
- Behavior Specialist/BCBA License for assigned state(s)
- 1+ years of professional experience as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working with clients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting
- Fluent conducting ABLLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland and QABF, MAS, FAST and Functional Behavior Assessments
- Maintain CEU requirement and BCBA credential with Behavior Analytic certification Board (BACB)
- Works with integrity and adheres to the BACB Ethical Code
- Strong written and oral communication along with strong interpersonal skills
- Complete competency checklist
- Knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and approaches found to benefit individuals with autism spectrum disorder, including familiarity with current related research findings
- Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA practices and adherence to the policies
- Knowledge of IBHS and managed care organization regulations and requirements
- Knowledge of BACB ethics codes
- Ability to apply BACB ethics codes while maintaining integrity and promoting best practices
- Ability to drive and lead practices while adhering to requirements of the state and manage care organizations
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and maintain healthy, productive working relationships
- Ability to conduct FBAs and design behavior intervention plans based on the results
- Ability to train new behavior technicians and family members regarding client treatment plans
- Ability to use various assessment tools, including VBMAPP, ABLLS, AFLS experience designing and implementing treatment plans and recommendations based on results in the initial assessment
- Ability to lead supervision/meetings
- Ability to have difficult conversations and solve problems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform tasks which include prolonged periods of walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and stooping
