Summer@Country School Assistant Counselor

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated assistant counselors who love summer programs and kids. Each program group will have a lead and an assistant counselor. Assistant counselor responsibilities include working closely with the lead counselor to ensure participant safety, create a fun and inclusive community, and support the lead counselor in planning and running activities.

Requirements

• Assist with the organization and supervision of children within activities and throughout the program
• Support the lead counselor in the development and implementation of program activities for participants
• Maintain high standards of health and safety for children
• Evaluate and request weekly supply needs for the group
• Update attendance daily
• Attend all staff meetings
• Be a role model to children and staff in attitude and behavior
• Represent the program when interacting with parents or community members
