Life Skills Instructor

New Horizons is seeking a passionate and engaging Life Skills Instructor to work with individuals with developmental disabilities in North Hills, California. The role involves developing and implementing individualized training programs, teaching essential life skills, and providing support and encouragement to promote independence and self-confidence. The position is flexible with possible weekend shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals with special needs or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
