Job Description
New Leaf Energy is seeking a Principal Utility Electrical Engineer to lead engineering strategy and development for their competitive clean energy markets. The role involves leading technical discussions, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with various teams. This is an internal position, but potentially remote with adjustments for the internal process.
Requirements
- 10+ years of power engineering experience, with significant experience in development business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar relevant study.
- Master or PE required.
- Strong PM and operational skills.
- Strong aptitude for creative problem-solving.
- Expert understanding of power system and design engineering principles (Inverter design, system grounding, BESS design, protection, ect).
- Mastery of New Leaf VSM and development strategy.
