Job Description
The General Counsel serves as the Office’s chief legal officer and a member of the Executive Team, providing strategic legal guidance across the agency’s portfolios and exercising a high level of independent judgment. The successful candidate must be solutions-oriented and able to execute quickly in a fast-paced government environment.
Requirements
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- Four years of recent full-time responsible, relevant, satisfactory legal experience subsequent to admission to any bar
- Eighteen months of experience in the supervision of other attorneys, in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity, or performing highly complex and significant legal work
