Job Description
The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure. This role involves providing computing resources, storage, networking, and security solutions, and collaborating with various teams. Cloud engineers will work closely with vendors and application teams to ensure efficient cloud service utilization.
Requirements
- Implement scalable and highly available cloud architectures.
- Configure and manage cloud services (virtual machines, containers, etc.).
- Understand and implement security best practices.
- Design and implement access controls, encryption mechanisms, and data protection measures.
