Job Description
The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) is seeking a full-time Planning Engineer to coordinate, perform and review technical studies related to the interconnection of proposed new generation, transmission, and load facilities to the New York State transmission system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in power system planning or design
- Experience with computer programs used in transmission planning or interconnection studies
- Knowledge of software tools such as Power Flow, Steady State Analysis, Stability, and Short Circuit
