Newman University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Women’s Volleyball Coach to lead our NCAA Division II women’s volleyball program.
Requirements
- Direct and manage all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division II women’s volleyball program.
- Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes in compliance with NCAA and institutional guidelines.
- Teach 1 credit hour course(s) per semester within the Athletics Department.
- Develop and implement training programs focused on physical health, team concepts, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with NCAA Division II, MIAA Conference, and institutional regulations.
- Monitor student-athlete eligibility and academic progress toward graduation.
- Coordinate conditioning and weight training with Athletic Performance coaches.
- Schedule practices, games, and team travel arrangements.
- Engage in fundraising, community outreach, and promotional activities.
- Serve as a positive role model, promoting ethical conduct and sportsmanship.
- Manage program budget and organize camps, clinics, or leagues as appropriate.
