Intake Clinician

Newport Mental Health (NMH) is a progressive organization dedicated to providing person-centered recovery services for individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders. They offer services ranging from outreach to inpatient hospitalization, with a focus on trauma-informed care and empowerment for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other underrepresented communities. They seek a Intake Clinician to provide initial diagnostic assessments and case consultation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in human services field or Licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 2 years of employment experience in community health, crisis stabilization unit, or inpatient psychiatric settings
• 2 or more years of experience collaborating with individuals with trauma and substance abuse issues
• Credentialed or eligible to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional
• Valid Driver’s License
