Job Description
Newsweek is seeking a Senior Director of IT and Info Systems to oversee technology operations, security, infrastructure, and support functions. This role involves leading IT teams, managing IT budgets, analyzing business needs, and ensuring system performance and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.
Requirements
- BS/BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field; MS/MA is a plus
- 12+ years of experience in IT management
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems
- Strong experience in hardware/software systems, networks, IT security, IT infrastructure, and IT support
- Experience in cloud computing, network administration, system administration, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, IT service management, and IT governance
- Experience managing and delivering complex IT projects
- Strong organizational, operating and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively
