Laboratory Technologists at NewYork Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center have the opportunity to conduct routine and complex tests on clinical specimens, troubleshoot instruments, and perform microscopic examinations. They also get to research and establish new procedures to improve laboratory operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent curriculum)
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York State Education Department
• ASCP certification
