The Hill Associate News Producer, Breaking News, Original Content is seeking a full-time Associate News Producer to assist with the production of breaking news, long and short form video programming focused on politics and culture.

Requirements

• Experience in broadcasting and digital in national newsrooms or top market
• Strong news judgement
• Understanding of official Washington and national politics
• Experience in broadcast writing skills
• ENPS or INEWS experience preferred
• Editing and Thumbnail experience preferred
• Quick decision maker and creative thinker
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
