Job Description
NextEra Energy Resources is seeking an Associate IT Technology Specialist to provide day-to-day IT infrastructure operational support, including technical support for end users, on-call support, and implementation of process improvements and automation.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 0+ years of experience
- Advanced proficiency with desktop support, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, macOS, iOS ecosystems, Tanium, ServiceNOW
- Expert-level support for WebEx, Teams, Zoom, and AV Systems
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, security protocols, and enterprise networking
- Enterprise-level device lifecycle management and procurement processes
- Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear simplified statements
- Experience facilitating meetings and ability to align technology solutions with strategic business objectives
- Understanding of corporate governance and risk management
- Experience managing external vendors
- Ability to self-lead and prioritize workstreams
