The Staff Engineer, Cloud Platforms & Operations is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable, secure cloud platforms that support enterprise and healthcare applications.
Requirements
- Engineer and automate the provisioning, deployment, and configuration of cloud-native infrastructure and applications.
- Drive improvements across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to enhance scalability, performance, and availability of cloud-hosted services.
- Develop and maintain internal tools and platform services that streamline CI/CD workflows and infrastructure operations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to advise engineering and operations teams on CloudOps, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Collaborate across IS and product teams to deliver secure, compliant, and reliable cloud environments using modern SRE and observability principles.
- Implement automated monitoring, alerting, and self-healing capabilities to minimize downtime and improve client experience.
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and operational readiness for critical production services.
- Document processes, platforms, and tooling; deliver knowledge-sharing sessions and onboarding resources for internal teams.
- Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
