Job Description
NexThreat is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to provide the communication architecture for the efficient and effective operation of the installation network. This role involves developing communication plans, configuring equipment, implementing cybersecurity processes, and supporting exercises. Requirements
- Associate's degree in network management or a related field
- Meet DoD 8570.01-m baseline computing environment (CE) certification requirements at information assurance technical level II (IAT II)
- Network+ certification
- Two (2) years of experience in network architecture design, and implementation
- Basic knowledge in network planning, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Basic knowledge of network hardware and software components; strong understanding of technology integration, information flow, configuration and implementation of LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP; firewalls and security; and storage and backup methodologies
