Job Description
NexThreat is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist with an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) focus to lead and provide technical expertise for the Department of the Air Force (DAF) cybersecurity program at multiple DAF Bases. The role involves implementing and maintaining cybersecurity programs, mentoring junior staff, and acting as a subject matter expert in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
Requirements
- Current DoD Secret Clearance required
- US Citizen, no Dual Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a significant focus on ISSO responsibilities or similar roles
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
