Job Description
Nextiva is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their Middleware Engineering team. This role focuses on scaling Kafka and Elasticsearch infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and resilience of their SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in automation, AI-driven observability, and a collaborative, innovative mindset.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience in software development, automation, or infrastructure engineering.
- Deep experience with MongoDB, Kafka and/or Elasticsearch in production environments.
- Strong Linux systems expertise and 6+ years managing Linux-based environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms - GCP and/or AWS
- Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, etc.
- Automation-first mindset.
- Expert-level understanding of Git and GitHub workflows.
- Expert-level understanding of SRE principles.
