Nidec is seeking a Motor Test Technician to support the development of electric propulsion systems for battery-powered aircrafts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in power distribution labs or Aerospace testing labs and be familiar with lab equipment, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical or Equivalent Two-year Course in field of engineering
- Three years experience working in power distribution labs or Aerospace testing labs
- Hands-on skills in assembly, modification, repair, and testing of electric motors and drivers
- Knowledge of and ability to use lab equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies / battery emulators, data loggers, spectrum analysers, environmental chambers and thermocouples
- Experienced working in HV environment with adherence to health and safety standards
- Familiarity with harnesses/soldering standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, IEC 62271, and/or UL 891
- Familiarity with CAD tools to interpret and follow engineer drawings for mechanical assemblies
- Ability to understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and related drawings
