Senior Data Scientist

NielsenIQ is a consumer intelligence company seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop end-to-end analytic solutions and shape data and algorithms to deliver accurate and robust Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics. The role involves building scalable, production-ready data science solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the evolution of the data science ecosystem through innovation, mentorship, and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field
• 5+ year experience in a Data Science role
• Expert knowledge of developing and optimizing deep learning algorithms on GPU infrastructures using the PyTorch framework
• Experience with fine-tuning third-party Large Language Models sourced from e.g. HuggingFace
• Proven ability to ship large-scale models to production environments
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with development tools (e.g. Jupyter, PyCharm, VSCode)
• Ability to think creatively in addressing analytical objectives
• Strong presentation and data visualization skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously as part of a distributed team
• Professional working proficiency in English
