Job Description
Nimble is a robotics and AI company inventing and scaling autonomous logistics with intelligent robots. They've recently closed a $106M Series C funding round and are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their cloud logistics team. The role involves developing and building advanced robotic systems, writing high-quality code, mentoring junior engineers, and leading larger initiatives. Requirements
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of industry experience
- Solid understanding of cloud security practices
- Experience building full stack cloud applications (both frontend and backend)
- Experience with REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and Docker
- Experience with SQL query/schema optimization
- Strong technical documentation skills (architecture diagrams + sequence diagramming)
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong self learning and improvement mindset
- Willing to work extended hours and weekends if needed
