Requirements

• S. in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Engineering, or similar technical field.
• Experience in quality, applications, product management, or manufacturing engineering – preferably in an advanced manufacturing environment.
• Comfort working directly with customers to set expectations, negotiate design decisions, and balance cost/delivery trade-offs.
• Strong communication skills, especially synthesizing complex information for executives and cross-functional teams and resolving tension between opposing business priorities
• Ability to create realistic schedules and help teams navigate ambiguity and execute
• Strong Design for Manufacturing (DfM) intuition – ability to translate drawings and specs into stepwise manufacturing plan, make informed trade-off decisions and identify risk points
• Understanding of quality principles relevant to New Product Introduction (NPI)
