Job Description
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a Communications Operator Trainee for their emergency management program. This is a 40-hour position within a centralized communications center, requiring preparedness for various shift duties, including emergency situations. Candidates must pass background checks and undergo training in incident command systems.
Requirements
- Successfully complete IS-100.c and pass Driver's License testing in NJ
- Appoinee must pass background check and obtain NJ Driver's License
- Completion of training period (12 months) in Communications Operator 1, Environmental Protection
