nLIGHT is seeking an interim Process Engineering Manager to lead the laser fabrication process engineering team and support research and development programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes and III/V optoelectronics process technology, as well as leadership experience in managing technical teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of research/development/manufacturing experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes and III/V optoelectronics process technology
- 5+ years of leadership experience in leading, motivating and managing a highly qualified technical teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Optical, Physics, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical) or exceptional industrial experience in closely related technologies
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics, generation and propagation of light and electrical transport in solid materials and the interaction of photons, electrons and ions with matter
- Expertise in semiconductor process technology, science and technology of thin films, process design and device fabrication, materials synthesis and characterization techniques
- Demonstrated ability to resolve fabrication process problems in a manufacturing environment by using structured methodologies and implementing robust solutions
